Soldiers & Sailors Memorial Hall & Museum will induct nine area men, living and dead, into its hall of valor, all of them World War II veterans except one who served in Vietnam, at a March 28 lunch ceremony.
These are the living inductees and their medals:
George J. Figulski, Turtle Creek, Distinguished Flying Cross.
John Neel, Pleasant Hills, Distinguished Flying Cross.
Ralph S. Ziegler, Allison Park, Distinguished Flying Cross.
The others have all died or were killed in action. They are:
Jacob J. Colley, Bridgeville, Distinguished Flying Cross.
Edward Fox, Defiance, Bedford County, Distinguished Service Cross.
John R. Mlinac, Carnegie, Silver Star.
John T. Rebic, Homestead, Silver Star.
George Saxon, Greenfield, Silver Star. Killed in action in World War II.
Karl G. Taylor, Avella, Washington County, Medal of Honor. Killed in action in Vietnam.
