West Liberty University men's basketball coach Jim Crutchfield knew C.J. Hester was a talented perimeter shooter when he was recruiting him out of West Mifflin High School. April Austin reveled in the many victories of which she was a part while competing at North Catholic High School. That success, which featured WPIAL championships in 2004 and '07 and a berth in the '07 PIAA Class A championship game, proved to be a primer for this 5-foot-6 junior from Penn Hills. Bobby Cremins knew he had nothing left to give his College of Charleston players when he walked away from the game last month. Cremins said he was physically exhausted and advised by his doctor to make drastic changes or risk jeopardizing his long-term health. "I had nothing. I had no gas. Lucky Jones scored 17 points and Anthony Myers had 15, leading Robert Morris to a Northeast Conference victory against Mount St. Mary's, 67-62, Saturday in Emmitsburg, Md. Carnegie Mellon University track and cross country coach Dario Donatelli is the first to point out that junior distance runner Emily Wobb is a unique individual.
